Testimonial

I manage over 400 users and being a school these change annually. UMRA allows me to make user changes within minutes that would normally take weeks to implement across te network. Add to that the fact that the customer service is second to none (with support staff willing to write bespoke scripts) and you have an esssential tool for keeping network management under control.

Phase 3: Managing user accounts in other applications (1 or 2 days on average)

Downstream provisioning

Realization of an interface to manage user accounts in other systems and applications than Active Directory, Exchange and NTFS is a next step. In this phase, the notification e-mails that are normally sent to application administrators are replaced with automatic connections.

XML or API

This interface via UMRA can be realized in three ways:

  • via a standard import method of the application (e.g an XML file)
  • an application with Client Side Provisioning
  • an Application Programming interface (API)
UMRA can connect with many different systems and applications. Click here for a complete overview of possible connections.

Advantages

The result of this phase is:

  • a clear way of managing Windows user accounts is also applied to other systems and applications,
  • reducing the administrative burden on the applications and provides simplicity for the end user,
  • a very short turnaround for the availability of user accounts across the organization.
